Product Overview

The CU/XLPE/STA/LSZH steel tape armoured cable protects the power core with a double layer of galvanized steel tape (STA). Steel tape armour delivers excellent resistance to compression and impact at a lower cost and smaller diameter than steel wire armour — the standard choice for direct burial, underground ducts and industrial runs where mechanical damage is a risk.

This construction is type-tested by TÜV Rheinland to BS 5467 (thermosetting insulated armoured cables 600/1000 V), giving buyers an independent third-party guarantee of quality. The LSZH outer sheath keeps the fire performance safe for installations in buildings and tunnels.
